Established in December 1997, Apex Biotechnology Corp (ApexBio) is dedicated to researching & developing and manufacturing the biotechnological products. It is our goal at ApexBio to be committed with on-going efforts to helping people improve quality of life.
At the establishment, ApexBio brought the proprietary biosensor technology into production of the Sensorex Blood Glucose Monitoring System. Other than those highly ranked glucose meters supplied by well-known international big companies, ApexBio then became the fourth manufacturer and supplier in the world-wide market of the self-monitoring blood glucose system reading electrochemical test strips. Sensorex acquired FDA approval in August 1998 under #K980573

The second glucose meter GlucoSure was developed and released in 1999;the third model GlucoSmart that reads capillary action (touch-in type) strip in 0.003 sample volume will be available shortly.
Employing also biosensor technology, ApexBio developed the first hand-held self-monitoring Blood Uric Acid Meter UASure. With only a droplet of 0.006 blood sample, users obtain uric acid concentration in the blood in 30 seconds by testing with UASure. UASure was released to the market in April 2000.
ApexBio is continuing development by using the same technology for testing Cholesterol, Lactate, Haemoglobin, etc.
ApexBio is an ISO9001/EN46001 certified manufacturer. All products are CE-marked.
