¡EWhat happens if expired test strips are used?
Expired strips may not give accurate results. Do not use test strips if the expiration date has passed. Test strips should only be used for 90 days after opening the vial. When first opening a new vial of test strips, count forward 90 days and write that date on the vial. Discard any remaining test strips after the date you have written on the vial.

¡EWhy do I need to code the monitor?
Your blood glucose monitor must be manually coded to match the vial of test strips you will be using in order to provide accurate blood glucose test results. You should code your monitor:
¡·When you first receive your new System, before you test your blood glucose.
¡·If the monitor display shows a flashing "- - -".
¡·Before beginning each new box of test strips.

If the code number on the display does not match the code number on the test strip vial, the test results may not be accurate. |
